After Vegas win, Hailie Deegan ready to go after a championship

Fresh off her second career NASCAR K&N Pro Series West win, NASCAR Next driver Hailie Deegan will drive a Toyota Supra pace car for today's Xfinity Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Although she already made history last season picking up her first K&N Pro Series West victory, Deegan showed impressive skills making a last-lap pass to win on the Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The 17-year-old competed in the K&N Pro Series East season opener last month in Florida and didn't have the result she had hoped for.

"New Smyrna was a rough race," said Deegan who started from the pole in the race but experienced mechanical issues and finished 16th. "We went out there and showed we were fast. We showed we were one of the fastest cars out there.
